In 2011, Fondazione Altagamma promoted the film “The success in your hands” which exposed the beauty of handcraftsmanship. The film targets secondary school students and aims to stimulate the interest in professional academic paths.
The film developed in collaboration with the “Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia di Milano” portrays contemporary handcraftsmanship in a visual language suitable for a young target but also for their families, who often influence these choices tending to disregard professions that require such craftsmanship skills.
The film tells the success stories of four Altagamma entrepreneurs (Gianmaria Buccellati, Vittorio Moretti, Ottavio Missoni, Carlo Riva) and a few new talents of external companies (Paolo Dazzara by illycaffè, Clemente Olivadoti by Bulgari, Federica Giorgi by Gucci, Francesco Rodriquez by Flos) who have developed their success and job outlooks directly from handcraftsmanship.
